Un quatuor de saxophonistes vont nous faire voyager à travers les continents et les temps sur les rythmes du jazz
A l’image du quatuor à cordes, Saxofan est un quatuor à vent. C’est un groupe de quatre saxophones : saxophone soprano, saxophone alto, saxophone ténor et saxophone baryton. L’association de ces quatre instruments est une avant-première en Tunisie voire dans le monde arabe.
Saxofan est constitué d’une élite des saxophonistes diplômés et dirigé par le saxophoniste Hakima Fakher, docteur en musique et musicologie de l’université de paris 4 Sorbonne.
Les possibilités sonores de cette famille d’instrument à vent permissent l’interprétation de divers styles musicaux. Saxofan présente un programme richement varié : Des extraits de musique classique Des extraits de musique du jazz Des extraits de musique de variété occidentale Des extraits de musique arabe et tunisienne
